If you read MangoWhirl's blog, then you might have noticed in this blog post, that I'm wearing a red/burgundy colour sleeveless blouse, which I left unbuttoned on the day. The top is actually jersey at the front and chiffon at the back, with lace inserts on the shoulders (which was covered mostly by my hijab).
Here are a few blouses that I've found online, but there are a lot more available, depending on what colours and styles you like. I personally prefer the sleeveless blouses with a lower drape at the back =)
New Look Rose Black Polka Blouse / Mango Chiffon Contrast Shirt / Dorothy Perkins Black Bird Long Sleeve Top
What do you think? Will you be trying this style with your abaya?
x
I agree it would be perfect for summer instead of wearing a cardigan to jazz up an abaya. :)
ReplyDeleteDefinitely! Because they're so thin, it won't make you feel warmer =)
DeleteLovely blouses!
ReplyDeleteThank you! =)
DeleteI loved how you wore yours the other day, and love these! xx
ReplyDeleteThank you Saf! =)
DeleteLovely idea - I might try something like this as I've had my eye on these sheer blouses but haven't known how to hijabify them. thank you! Sarita x

Thank you! And definitely try it out! These sheer blouses are everywhere at the moment =)
Deletei really love this idea, maybe not during the summer because few layers as possible, but i like this idea
ReplyDeleteI think they'd be great for Summer because they're so thin, it won't make you feel warmer =) (In Winter and Spring, I prefer cardigans as they are thicker- the more layers, the better!) =)
