Jewellery Making - Rainbow Loom Bracelets

Hello readers! Hopefully you haven't deserted me after two whole weeks of no blogging! I took an impromptu break as I wanted to step away from my computer and phone for a little while. You may have also noticed that I haven't been tweeting or posting on Instagram as much as well. Having a little break from being online has given me the chance to pick up on a few of my hobbies and find a new one too! The most recent craze is Rainbow Loom, which basically is looping min elastic bands around each other in different ways to create patterns. I've (finally) mastered how to create the fishtail design without using an actual loom!. Here's a picture of the ones that I've made for myself (the rest have been given away to my students and friends) =D

Rainbow Loom tutorials are all over Youtube. They seem to be extremely popular in the US, and are slowly making their way to the UK. Definitely have a go at making some if you a little free time. I can now make a bracelet in under 10 minutes =)

What do you think of these bracelets?

You Beauty Discovery Box - March

Every month, the YBD box seems to go from strength to strength with the variety of products to choose from and the fact that they are always a decent size (no sample sachets/vials for this box!). This month's box focused on the 'Best of British' products and again, there was a great selection of products to choose from. I chose the Body Shop Camomile and Scrumptious Cleansing Butter and Muslin Cloth and the Dr Lipp Original Nipple Balm for Lips. The extra's for this moths box included Vintage Cosmetics Tweezers (or lashes/toe separators depending on your box) and 2 tea bags from Dragonfly Teas.

Both the products I chose are full size, with the Body Shop Cleansing Butter retailing at £12 (90ml) and the Dr Lipp Balm at £11.50 (15ml). The value of the products is definitely worth the price of the YBD box which costs only £6.95! I'm hoping that the Camomile Cleansing Butter is similar to the RMK Cleansing balm (which I reviewed here), and at a fraction of the price, I can afford to repurchase. I'm not a big fan of tea (unless it's spiced tea/chai), but I am trying to cut down on the amount of coffee I drink and hopefully substitute with flavoured teas. The two teas I got in my box are Moonlight Jasmine (organic green tea) and Swirling Mist (organic white tea).

What do you think of this months products?
