SNOW!!

It's snowing in London (finally)! Luckily the underground is working okay, so I managed to get to uni and back home, but I feel sorry for all those people who use national rail/overground services because of all the delays =(

Now I need to find a decent pair of boots because it sure is going to be icy for the rest of the week and I don't really want to end up on the floor. I was amazed at how I still had dry feet after wearing a pair of Converse in the snow and slush  =)

FIMO Harry Potter

So, I managed to finish making the Harry Potter FIMO charm for my friend's birthday present =). I followed this tutorial which makes the whole process look ridiculously simple. The easy part was making the body and head (not really that easy!) and the most difficult part was painting the face =/ but I got it done, and now it just needs to be attached to something. Maybe a keyring or phone charm?
Here's a picture of what it looks like:

(sorry about the rubbish picture quality)

Sugababes Perfume (Touch)

So a BIG thank you to Charlotte from Lipglossiping who hosted a giveaway for the 3 Sugababes fragrances. I was lucky enough to win, and it was a wonderful surprise to come home today and find out it had arrived! I recieved the Touch fragrance (the silver bottle) and first of all noticed it was pretty heavy for a perfume (considering it's 100ml, that's pretty much expected) =D. Also, it smells amazing! Kinda fruity and refreshing at the same time, alongside the rose scent (according to my untrained nose!). Anyways, here's a few pictures to show you what it looks like =)

(Shiny Box!)

(and a little note from Sugababes Fragrances)

(isn't it big!)

99p Bargain

I was going past the 99p store, when I thought let me go see what they have today. I managed to pick up a candle and a small organiser box. The box is really not that interesting, the candle however, smells amazing. Sort of like vanilla and cinnamon mixed together. It's called 'christmas cookies' and it definitely reminds me of baking.

Now I need to go back and see what other scented candles they have  =)

Coursework completed (finally)

So today was the deadline for a 2000 word essay reviewing two Psychometric tests, The Eysenck Personality Questionnaire (EPQ) and Spielberger's State-Trait Anxiety Inventory (STAI). As interesting as they were to learn about and to find out how they're used today, I don't think I could have managed to write 2000 words on them (I was barely over 1800 words, which is the absolute minimum!). Hopefully the next piece of coursework due in won't be so difficult to write.

On a more positive note, I bought some FIMO soft clay today, and I'm going to attempt to make Harry Potter (as a gift for an friend, who is quite a big fan!)

(and I'm kinda getting the hang of this blogging business) =D

First blogging attempt!

Hi!

If you've reached this page, you have successfully stumbled upon my first blog post! So, this blog (Chocoholic Hijabi) is basically going to be an outlet for me (and you! as readers) about stuff that is going on at the moment.

The name of the blog, is pretty much what represents me, although there are many more words that could have been used, these are the two that I thought of immediately!

I'm currently a student in London, studying Psychology (no, I can't read minds!), and enjoy a whole range of things from chocolate (of course) to scrapbooking, shopping, jewellery making, reading and plenty of other hobbies. I've thought about blogging quite a bit, but this is the first step I've taken to actually sit down and make a blog, so let's hope it lasts =D

Enjoy
